Upright Construction is celebrating its 10th birthday! It’s with a lot of satisfaction that we can say a decade on we’re very much still here, our business is well established in the Surrey area and we’re continuing to build high-quality projects for our clients.
At our heart we are a team of people passionate about construction. As an independent business, we’ve strived to make Upright Construction inclusive and supportive, winning us loyal staff and clients.
When we started 10 years ago we didn’t have an office; just a small team of like-minded people wanting to work with home and business owners to deliver enhanced and new build properties to specification, on time and on budget.
We still remember sending out introductory emails to the contacts we had waiting for a response, hoping to win jobs, no matter how small and to prove our worth.
How different it is today.
Having worked with over 450 clients, we have had the privilege (yes we truly see it like that) to turn their houses around and make their house aspirations a reality. Whether it’s through a home extension, loft conversion, renovation or new build, each project has been another notch in our adventure so far. What we’re truly proud of is the number of clients we join on their journey along the housing ladder, from their initial home to their forever home, these clients have put their homes quite literally in our capable hands time and time again, so thank you.
Our company’s growth has been fantastic, we have established ourselves within Surrey and built relationships with many other local businesses including architect practices, building suppliers, kitchen companies, interior designers and more who all share our beliefs.
We are now based in Reigate town centre, in a fantastic property we are currently renovating and looking forward to opening the doors to everyone soon. Not forgetting our fantastic team, our business wouldn’t be here without them. We have trebled in size since we first opened. We now have dedicated teams, from the project teams to onsight teams, with every single person being an expert in their trade.
But what hasn’t changed is our business ethos – to exceed our client’s expectations by delivering an exceptional build, on time, within budget and to their specification, all with a service that is second to none.
The construction industry is ever-changing, new home trends and advancements in building materials and sustainable living being consistently high on the agenda. We can’t be sure what the next ten years will bring, but we can promise the same level of commitment and service that has come to define our business and reputation.
